The board of directors of the state-owned Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) will meet on Monday to announce the financial results for the fiscal year ending March 20, 2022
There may also be some dividend announcements for the company's shareholders
According to a recent regulatory filing by LIC, the meeting would also examine the distribution of dividends, if any
The much-anticipated LIC initial public offering debuted at roughly 8% less than its issue price
The corporation will release the audited financial figures for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2022
On May 17, 2022, the country's largest IPO will be listed on the bourses
The shares were listed at an 8% discount, much to the chagrin of investors
The shares were listed on the NSE for Rs 872 a share, which was more than 8% lower than the issue price of Rs 949 per share
However, since Friday, the situation has been steady. As the market opened on Monday, LIC shares traded at Rs 825.95 a share, up roughly 0.5%
